As part of this year’s Harbour Festival, we invite you to join a football tournament and a cycling race for adults – two activities packed with great atmosphere, friendly competition, and plenty of laughs!
Football Tournament
Gather your friends, colleagues, or neighbours and join us as we kick off a fun tournament on the pitch. It’s all about the glory, the community spirit – and perhaps a cold beer afterwards!

Cycling Race
Prefer wheels to football? Then hop on your bike and take part in our cycling race. There’s room for everyone, whether you ride to beat the clock or simply enjoy the journey.

Harbour Festival Run 2026
Lace up your running shoes and see how many laps you and your team can run or walk.
The route takes you through the idyllic town of Hou, with the start and finish area located at the harbour.
Prizes will be awarded to the participant(s) who cover the greatest distance within 1 hour.

A church service by the water – a peaceful and inspiring start to the day.
On Saturday morning, we gather for a very special church service at Hou Harbour, where you can enjoy the tranquillity, the sense of community, and the gentle sound of the waves in the background.
Everyone is welcome – regardless of faith, age, or background.
We look forward to sharing this meaningful and beautiful moment with you at the harbour.
After the service, the parish council will host a complimentary beer or soft drink.

The Brown Pub opens its doors right in the heart of the festival grounds, offering cosy surroundings, ice-cold draft beer, classic sing-along hits, and an atmosphere filled with nostalgia and good stories.
Have you missed a place where you can sing along to your favourite tunes, raise a glass with the person next to you, and enjoy a drink or two? Then this is the place to settle in.
